Name: Ichigo Kurosaki

Ichigo Kurosaki is the main protagonist in the anime Bleach. He is a human who has gain Shinigami and Quincy powers and is a substitute Shinigami of the Soul Society. He is the son of Isshin and Masaki Kurosaki. He is the older brother to sister Karin and Yuzu. Ichigo's most prominent feature is his spiky orange hair, a trait that has been the foremost subject for jokes at Ichigo's expense.

Since acquiring Shinigami powers from Rukia, he has gain more muscle and become noticeably more mature too. Also suffering from a stubborn attitude, he is short tempered and impulsive. He follows what his heart says for the most part. He is mostly a pretty cool character but appears to look annoyed most often with a scowl spread across his face. From a young age Ichigo was able to see ghosts/spirits or Pulses as they are called also which may have been attributed to his strong Shinigami heritage as discovered much later in the series.

After becoming a substtue Shinigami, he is quick to learn and adapt to situations but has a hard time conceding himself to his Zanpakutō, named Zangetsu. Zangetsu and Ichigo are feudal at the best of times and not until later on does Ichigo unlock the full potential of the sword. But despite his somewhat hot headed attitude, Ichigo is a keen learner and becomes one of the best Shinigami to live.  With a major weakness being his Reiatsu control, when in hollow form, it fluctuates wildly and becomes very unpredictable.

As Ichigo has an unstable spiritual energy, his Bankai is slightly different compared to other Shinigami and often uses his most powerful attach known as the 'Getsuga Tenshō'. Despite this, he always overcomes the odds and is constantly surprising opponents that are considered stronger.
