Gurren Lagann is all about mindless fun with no hidden objectives. It's an amazingly enjoyable anime as long as you don't go over it with a fine tooth comb or delve into its inner workings. I mean, Gurren Lagann is a bit silly, but surprisingly effective.

My initial thoughts on Shiki are fairly straightforward and while the characters and plot are still developing in the early episodes, one thing is made abundantly clear. And that is the eyes and hairstyles are creepy to say the least (take a look below). I'll add a few pictures to help you understand

Psycho-Pass takes place in the future (2113), where it's possible to instantly judge a person's state of mind and predisposed personality. The system named 'Sibyl', is the law enforcement endeavour run in conjunction with the government, to ensure safe social construct with no crime while maintaining order.
The female gender is something that can be strange and difficult comprehend, and in the anime Mysterious Girlfriend X...I guess that's an understatement. The female main character may as well be labelled an alien...quite literally.
