Name: Kamina Jiha (Big Bro)

Anime: Gurren Lagann

Kamina (Kamina Jiha) is a young man from the Jeeha Village. He was the founder and leader of Team Gurren and 'big bro' to his best friend Simon. He was the protagonist for the first half of Gurren Lagann along with his 'Bro' Simon. After Kamina's death, his fighting spirit lived on through Simon and his best efforts to avail Kamina's death.

Kamina is very well built and muscular. He is tall and prides himself on his toughness and masculinity. He has short, blue hair and often wears his trademark red sunglasses. Behind the red sunglasses are his red eyes and usually smirk face. He has a dark skin colour and has many tattoos on his body too.

On the surface, Kamina presents a very boisterous facade and appears hot-headed and arrogant. But dig a little and he is very caring and determined. But for the most part, he is hungry for recognition and strives for greatness. He is even able to inspire the timid Simon into moments of success and ferocity. Despite his often brazen actions and practically insane actions, Kamina is quite intelligent and strategic when it comes to combat. His favourite catchphrase 'Just who the hell do you think I am', is usually following by some crazily bold move and it often pays off. So generally his actions, although they appear reckless, have some deeper thought behind them. This would insinuate that he is, in fact, not as insane as he appears.

Right before the battle that would be his demise, Kamina and Yoko were seen in an intimate encounter. With each kissing one another, Kamina promised to repay the action 10 times over. However, he was unable to do so, as he met defeat at the hands of enemy gunmen.
